The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Office on Homeless Services, is accepting proposals for Supportive Services, Housing First Case Management Services, and Mercer County ID Project for the period of January 1, 2023, through December 31, 2023.

Funding will be made available in the following service categories:

  1. Housing First Case Management Services - County Funds
  2. Supportive Services – County Funds and Mercer County Homeless Trust Fund (HTF) Dollars
  3. Mercer County ID Project – County Funds and State Funds

These funds are for activities that support various populations in Mercer County:

  • To provide housing first case management services for Mercer County residents who are chronically homeless and are currently housed utilizing a designated federally funded voucher will be administered in the amount of $65,000 in County Funds.
  • To support county residents who are experiencing homelessness or with preventing homelessness with outreach, case management for permanent supportive housing, and wrap around services to insure individuals and families are able to remain permanently housed. This would be administered by a designated subcontractor/s for related services for Mercer County residents in the amount of $52,040 in Mercer County Homeless Trust Fund (HTF) Dollars that may transfer to County Funds and $65,000 in County Funds.
  • To support Mercer County residents experiencing homelessness, some of whom are citizens re-entering to the community from incarceration, with obtaining vital identification needed to secure permanent housing that includes but is not limited to; NJ and out-of-state driver and non-driver licenses, birth certificates, marriage licenses, etc. This service would be administered by a designated subcontractor for services for Mercer County residents in the amount of $55,000 in County Funds and $65,000 in State Funds for the 12-month period.
