The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Office on Homeless Services, is accepting proposals for a County funded Rapid Rehousing program for households for a two-year period from January 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025. The funding allocation is contingent upon the availability of funds and the passage of the 2024 and 2025 Mercer County budgets.

Funding will be made available for a rapid re-housing program for Mercer County households who have been evaluated by Trenton/Mercer CoC, CEASe System partners and determined to be Non-TANF households experiencing homelessness, as defined by those who are in a housing situation that cannot be sustained but have not yet lost housing or those households who are literally homeless. Funding is available in the amount of $290,000.00 ($145,000.00 per year County Funds). The purpose of the project is to provide housing first rapid rehousing services to the aforementioned population.
