The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Division of Public Health, is accepting proposals for a PHAB Accreditation Prep Consultant. The period of performance is February 1, 2024, through June 30, 2024, in an amount not to exceed $89,365.00.

The purpose of this County funding is to conduct preparation efforts for the PHAB (Public Health Accreditation Board) Accreditation. Mercer County Division of Public Health received grant funding to explore PHAB Accreditation through the New Jersey Department of Health. The public health accreditation process will help make a measurable difference within Mercer County by the updating/developing public health plans such as the Community Health Assessment, Community Health Improvement Plan, Workforce Development Plan and Department-Wide Strategic Plan. Having the ability to update these plans will allow for greater understanding of the public health needs of our community and what gaps in services our Mercer County Division of Public Health may be able to provide.
