The Mercer County Department of Human Services, Division of Youth Services is accepting proposals for County-funded youth services for the 2-year period of January 1, 2024 through December 31, 2025. A total of approximately $2,296,000.00 is available for the Primary and Secondary Prevention and Treatment Services categories; and up to $806,000.00 is available for the Transportation, Home Alternative Release Program (HARP), and Home Detention service categories.

The Mercer County Department of Human Services (MCDHS) is looking to fund programs that demonstrate effective programming that achieves intended outcomes. The applicants must have the ability to identify the youth to be targeted, have the capability to address specific needs of minority youth, and the program should be geographically accessible to high-risk populations. Agencies are expected to identify clear, achievable performance outcomes in their proposals, and create internal procedures to track whether goals are being met.

  • Secondary Prevention
  • Treatment Services
  • Transportation
  • Home Alternative Release Program (HARP)
  • Home Detention

  • Home Alternative Release Program (HARP) AND Home Detention

NOTE: Home Detention could be operated as a detention alternative step up or step down to the Home Alternative Release Program (HARP) and could be applied for in one (1) application.
