This Sources Sought notice is being posted to satisfy the requirement of Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) 206.302-1(d). The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to issue a Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract on a limited competition basis to Ultra-Electronics ICE, Inc., CAGE Code 5Y111, or Allied Defense Industries, LLC, an authorized distributor, CAGE Code 0GD25, for the procurement of the H-60 Fuel Control Adapter Set, National Stock Number (NSN) 4930-99-993-0894, P/N FST 8040, in support of the following H-60 Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programs:

The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements" for this action. The H-60 Fuel Control Adapter Set is the only piece of peculiar support equipment to meet the maintenance requirements. No other H-60 fuel control adapter set has been identified that can perform the same functions and that is certified by the U.S. Navy to conduct maintenance on military outfitted H-60 helicopters. The adapter set is required for use with the Fuel Control Test Set to interface with the H-60 aircraft to perform fuel probe testing and fuel indicator testing.

No promise of a contract award is implied and respondents are not being asked to submit cost proposals. Any comments provided may or may not be included in a formal solicitation. The Government will not release any information marked with a Proprietary legend, received in response to this RFI, to any firms, agencies, or individuals outside the Government without written permission in accordance with the legend.
