The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to invite vendors who may be interested in competing for this potential contract to reach out with questions/ comments that may help us define our requirement prior to solicitation. Potential contract would most likely be a 12 month Base Year plus 4 - 12 month Option Years. This is not a request for proposal.
The following provides in part some details related to the scope of work:
The New Jersey Army National Guard has a requirement for contract support to perform overdue scheduled maintenance on wheeled tactical vehicles and equipment Vehicles and items that range up to heavy duty specialty trailers, and support equipment up to OSHA Class V.
Equipment services are specified maintenance actions performed when required where equipment, components, and systems are routinely checked, adjusted, changed, analyzed, lubed, and so forth, in accordance with designer and engineer specifications as referenced in AR 750-1, DA Pam 738-751, DA Pam 750-8.
The New Jersey Army National Guard currently has over 1650 pieces of ground equipment located in 8 maintenance shops throughout the State with overdue services. Objective of this contract would be to complete all overdue services as well as upcoming bi-annual maintenance requirements.
Contracted personnel must have the relevant experience, certifications, and licenses in order to perform all necessary tasks related to this type of work.
Contractor personnel will be required to have their own tools. Some specialty tools may be provided at each shop.
National Guard Shops will provide service parts and kits.
National Guard Shop office personnel (Production Controllers) will perform all internal administrative Army functions.
