Description

The Fuel Blivits required are non-vented cylindrical, 500-gallon capacity, collapsible rubber drum, primarily used for storage and transport of liquid fuel. Each Fuel Drum measures at 62 inches x 52 inches and can be helicopter lifted and dropped free fall from 15ft. Each drum should collapse down to approximately 10% of its full size, 10 inches for transport. These drums must be constructed of a durable, non-vented, hermetically sealed, collapsible 4ply elastomeric-coated neoprene rayon fabric. They have been transported to altitudes in excess of 15,000 ft. and temperatures from 130F to 165F. They must be suitable for storage of a variety of petroleum-based fuels and are manufactured to stringent U.S. Mil specifications. Features- (4) Lift/Tie down shackles, (2) per side mounted to a rotating ring. (1) Cam lock self-sealing 2-inch filler/2-inch discharge valve. (1) Hand operated 2-inch filler/2-inch discharge valve.
