Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals for competitive contracting, not subject to public bidding pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-4.1 will be received by the County Purchasing Agent of the County of Salem. The following services have been established as priorities:

Proposal for Five Year Review and Update of Multi-Jurisdictional Multi Hazards Mitigation Plan for the County of Salem

Specifications may be obtained daily between 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM from the Salem County Purchasing Department, Fifth Street Office Complex, and 110 Fifth Street, Suite 400, Salem, New Jersey 08079

Or they may be mailed on telephone request (856) 935-7510, extension 8401 or e-mail request to purchasing@salemcountynj.gov *protected email* .

Responses shall be made on the forms and submitted in the manner designated within the specifications. They shall be enclosed in sealed envelopes bearing the legend, “Proposal for Five-year review and update of Multi-Jurisdictional Multi Hazards Mitigation plan for the County of Salem” on the outermost package. Respondents must submit one Original (clearly marked “Original”) and three complete hard copies of their responses. The bids shall be returned to the Salem County Purchasing Department, Attn: Stephen Hoffman – Purchasing Assistant, 110 5th Street, Salem, NJ 08079 no later than Tuesday, 01/10/2023 at 11:00am prevailing time, when they will be opened and read in public at Salem County Offices, 110 Fifth Street, Conference Room 400, Salem, NJ 08079. Late bids will not be considered.

Respondents are required to comply with requirements of NJSA 10:5-31 et seq. and N.J.A.C. 17:27 regarding Equal Employment Opportunity Laws and regulations. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE), in accordance with the Department of transportation (DOT) Regulations 49 CFR Part 26, shall have the maximum opportunity to participate in the performance of this contract. A race DBE goal has been assigned for this project.

Respondents are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, C. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) Affirmative Action and P.L. 1977, C. 33 (N.J.S.A. 52-25-24.2) Corporate Disclosure.
