DATE OF BID OPENING: Tuesday, June 13, 2023 @ 11:00 A.M.

The Specifications, Bid Documents and related bidding instructions may be obtained on or after Monday, May 15, 2023, from the Purchasing Office, Executive Division, Delaware River Port Authority, One Port Center, 2 Riverside Drive, PO Box 1949, Camden, NJ 08101. Telephone (856) 968-2164.

Sealed bids for said Invitation for Bid will be received until the time and date specified at which time they will be publicly opened and read.

The Delaware River Port Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make an award to the qualified bidder deemed to be in the best interest of the Delaware River Port Authority.

The DRPA is firmly committed to providing equal employment and business opportunities for all persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, or non-job related disability. In that regard, the DRPA will affirmatively assure that, in regard to any DRPA agreement contract or subcontract entered into pursuant to this matter, qualified and certified minority business enterprises (MBEs), women business enterprises (WBEs)and (VOBs) veteran owned business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on grounds of race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age or non-job-related disability in consideration for an award.

Prospective bidders should understand that the participation of qualified and certified MBEs, WBEs and VOBs is a matter of great interest in the evaluation of all bids.

Prior to the issuance of a purchase order the apparent low bidder is required to fully complete or update the Authority’s registration questionnaire in Ariba, if it has not already been completed or updated by the bidder. The apparent low bidder will have 14 business days from the date of the bid opening to complete or update their Ariba registration. If the apparent low bidder fails to complete or update its Ariba registration within 14 days of the bid opening, the bid may be deemed non-responsive and rejected by the Authority.
