The funding for this service is supported through an award to the Division of Public Health in collaboration with the Office on Addiction Services, made available by the National Association of County and City Health officials (NACCHO). NACCHO receives support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the National Center for Injury and Prevention (NCIPC) for implementing overdose prevention strategies at the local level (IOPSLL). The purpose of this funding is to augment existing harm reduction services in Mercer County and to target vulnerable county residents in need of overdose prevention education and resources.

This funding is contingent upon inclusion and adoption of the 2023-2025 Mercer County budgets and available grant funds.
